Air Asia - Nok Air - Thai Airways - Bangkok Airways - PB Air - One Two Go

Air Asia - website - Phone: (0)2 515 9999

Without question, Air Asia is king in terms of low cost carriers. With the exception of Samui, they fly pretty much everywhere. They have promotions all the time and are in constant competition with Nok Air, so it is best to check their website often. Air Asia has flights all over Asia, and they are generally your best bet. It is worth noting that they don't do assigned seating on regional flights, so make sure to board with your party.

Nok Air - website - Phone: (0)2-9009955
Nok Air is the second largest "no frills" airline in Thailand. Nok can mean "bird" or "cheap" depending on how you say it, so the name is a play on words. The service is good, and the flights are cheap.

Thai Airways - website - Phone: (0)2 356-1111
Thai Airways is a full service airline with international quality. The service is better, but you better be prepared to pay for it! The discovery airpass is worth noting. You can book three destinations for $199 from outside of the country. This represents a good value.

Bangkok Air - website - Phone: (0)2 265-5678
Bankok Airways describes themselves as a "boutique" airline. They have monopolized a few routes in Thailand. For Koh Samui or Utapao (Pattaya) Bangkok Airways is your only option. Another notable flight is the non-stop from Chiang Mai to Samui on a daily basis.

PB Air - website - Phone: (0)2 261-0220
PB Air has some destinations that other airlines don't serve. If you can't find a destination on some of the other carriers, you may wish to check here.

1-2-Go - website - Phone: (0)2 229 4100

One-Two-Go flies from Don Muang. They are a low cost carrier. They serve Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phuket, Surat Thani, Hat Yai, and Nakon Si Thammaret domestically.
Internationally, One-Two-Go serves Hong Kong, Incheon (Korea), and Kathmandu (Nepal).
